31-year-old man found dead near Red Lobster dumpster, officials say

ALBANY, Ga. (WALB/Gray News) - A man in Georgia was found dead behind an old Red Lobster, according to authorities.The man found dead behind the old Red Lobster in Albany has now been identified as 31-year-old Jarrod Lamar Holden.According to the incident report, officers responded after getting a report about a “man down.” When they got there, they found a man dead near the area of the dumpster.In the report, officers say the man was wearing jeans, a white sock on his right foot, a black sock on his left foot and no shirt. His head was reportedly hanging off a mattress he was lying on. There were a number of pieces of clothing strewn around the area; officers believe the man may have lived in the area.Officers also noted a lot of flies around the body and discoloration on the face and fingers.The coroner then went to the scene and pronounced the man dead.
