DESOTO COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) - DeSoto County Public Schools and district offices will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday because of flooding and concerns about road conditions, the school district announced.All after-school activities, athletics and extracurricular events scheduled for both days also are canceled.RELATED STORY | Water rising across DeSoto County, leaving several roads underwaterDistrict officials said they will continue monitoring flooding and road conditions overnight and throughout Wednesday.
