A bag of pet food added to a shopping trip can become part of something much larger this October. SeaMonkey Apparel is bringing back its Fill the Van campaign for a third year, with a larger collection network and expanded support for animal welfare organizations in Manatee and Sarasota counties. Last year’s effort collected more than 3,200 pounds of pet food and supplies. The first two years together brought in more than 4,100 pounds. This October, the goal is to build on that support through donated supplies, financial contributions, retail partnerships, and purchases that help fund the effort.
