SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - The Suncoast faces another unsettled stretch as Hurricane Isaias moves north through the Gulf, bringing gusty winds, scattered thunderstorms and dangerous beach conditions. Friday will be partly sunny with afternoon storms developing across Sarasota and Bradenton. Highs will reach the upper 80s near the coast and lower 90s inland, with the heat index climbing above 100 degrees. However, with a breezy southeast wind and slightly drier in place, storms that form will move faster and therefore rain less over any one spot. With lower rainfall totals and drier air limiting the number of storms the risk of heavy rain is reduce a bit. Never-the-less, isolated spots may still see a downpour or two.Saturday brings another round of showers and thunderstorms, with rain chances reaching 60 percent near the coast and 80 percent inland.
