Woman accused of stabbing her father to death and cutting out his heart, reports say

PORTER COUNTY, Ind. (Gray News) — A woman in Indiana is accused of stabbing her father to death and then cutting out his heart.Online jail records from the Porter County Sheriff’s Office show Serena Desiree Dolnics, 32, was booked into jail early Monday morning on a murder charge.She is being held without bond.According to WGN, authorities responded to a home Sunday evening for a wellness check after family members asked police to check on Gregory Dolnics, 70.Court documents obtained by WTHR said that family members told dispatchers that Serena Dolnics lived with her father and that she had been making “odd statements” whenever family asked to speak with him.When officers arrived, they entered the home and found the body of Gregory Dolnics. Documents obtained by WGN said he was found with his heart cut out, which was lying on his stomach.
